Jan 24Single lane closure in a portion of Aztec Circle Drive to safely remove the SDG&E pole parallel to GMCS and existing substation A. Thru traffic will be maintained. Please heed the directions and instructions of signage and flaggers in the area.
Arts and Letters and Parking Lot 14 – Planned Electrical Outage- 01/21/2025
Jan 21In order to evaluate device connections safely, planned electrical outages for the Arts & Letters building and parking lot 14 are required. There will be periodic construction personnel traffic in and around the Arts & Letters building throughout the entire duration of the work. The outages will entail a total loss of power for the durations specified below, affecting systems such as heating and air, lighting, receptacle convenience power, card/access/access control, elevators, etc. It is highly recommended that sensitive equipment unable to withstand an outage should be powered down the day before to avoid unanticipated impacts to the equipment during the outage window. After the outages, users will be able to re-enter the building and confirm that power is restored, and systems are fully functional. Aztec Cir Drive – From 01/20/2025 to 01/24/2025
Jan 20Medium voltage cable pulling work will limit vehicular access on Aztec Circle Drive, parallel to the Geology, Mathematics, and Computer Science (GMCS) to a single lane throughout the duration of work. Vehicular thru-traffic will be maintained by flagmen directing traffic in alternating directions. In addition, 4 accessible parking spots parallel to the Atkinson Hall building will be closed to provide a safe working space for the construction personnel. Alternate accessible parking spots are located between the Physics Astronomy and Administration Buildings, as shown in Green. Please reference the SDSU 3D Map for Accessible Parking Locations. No building system outages are anticipated as a result of this work.

Additionally, construction traffic will occur in Hallway 14 to facilitate the work, but occupant access through the hallway will be maintained. Please note that while the work may generate localized dust and noise, no building system outages are anticipated.
Hepner Hall - From 01/15/2025 to 01/31/2025
Jan 15Construction personnel will need to occupy Electrical Room 13 for the duration of the work. Additionally, construction traffic will occur within Room 10SE within the Hepner Hall building basement. Please note that this work may generate localized dust and noise. Efforts will be made to coordinate dust/noise impacts around occupied room schedules.
Art II North – From 01/15/2025 to 01/20/2025
Jan 15The work will require construction personnel to occupy Electrical Room 200 and 200A for the duration of the work. Additionally, construction traffic will occur in room 202 to facilitate the work. Please note that while the work may generate localized dust and noise, no building system outages are anticipated.
