To: All Campus Users

From: Sarah Abdellatif, Substation A Communication Specialist/Program Analyst

Please be advised that Planning, Design & Construction will be performing a project that may impact you. Below are the details of the scope of work and anticipated impacts:

Scope of Work: Pull obsolete underground electrical cables in association with building electrical upgrades.

Reason for Project: Work associated with the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades project in support of current campus needs and future growth.

Anticipated Impacts:

Medium voltage cable pulling work will limit vehicular access on Aztec Circle Drive, parallel to the Geology, Mathematics, and Computer Science (GMCS) to a single lane throughout the duration of work. Vehicular thru-traffic will be maintained by flagmen directing traffic in alternating directions. In addition, 4 accessible parking spots parallel to the Atkinson Hall building will be closed to provide a safe working space for the construction personnel. Alternate accessible parking spots are located between the Physics Astronomy and Administration Buildings, as shown in Green. Please reference the SDSU 3D Map for Accessible Parking Locations.

No building system outages are anticipated as a result of this work.

Start Time / Date: 06:00 AM, Monday, January 20, 2025

End Time / Date: 05:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2025

*Please note that temporary traffic impacts will be in effect only during construction work hours between the hours of 6:00 am and 5:00 pm. At the end of the work day, traffic impacts will be cleared for normal access and reinstalled the next work day.
