Upcoming Impacts
Arts and Letters and Parking Lot 14 – Planned Electrical Outage- 01/21/2025
Jan 21In order to evaluate device connections safely, planned electrical outages for the Arts & Letters building and parking lot 14 are required. There will be periodic construction personnel traffic in and around the Arts & Letters building throughout the entire duration of the work. The outages will entail a total loss of power for the durations specified below, affecting systems such as heating and air, lighting, receptacle convenience power, card/access/access control, elevators, etc. It is highly recommended that sensitive equipment unable to withstand an outage should be powered down the day before to avoid unanticipated impacts to the equipment during the outage window. After the outages, users will be able to re-enter the building and confirm that power is restored, and systems are fully functional. Any issues should be communicated immediately to the project team using the contact information provided at the end of this notification. ** Please also note that the Arts & Letters building and parking lot 14 will be closed to the public throughout the outage window detailed below. ** Start Time / Date: 04:00 AM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 End Time / Date: 06:00 AM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025

Dec 19Please be aware that ongoing testing in the cogeneration plant may result in up to three brief utility service interruptions within the timeframe indicated below. In the unlikely scenario where an interruption may occur, each interruption would not be expected to last longer than 20 minutes at a time. While the likelihood of interruptions is low, we recommend frequently saving your work, shutting down or unplugging sensitive equipment, and scheduling any critical tasks that cannot tolerate an interruption outside the testing window as a precaution. If you have questions or would like more details about potential impacts and recommended measures to prepare for potential utility impacts, please use the contact information provided below.
