Please be advised that Planning, Design & Construction will be performing a project that may impact you. Below are the details of the scope of work and anticipated impacts:

Scope of Work: Prepare the building for electrical infrastructure upgrades by installing medium voltage power cable and establishing permanent connection back to normal power.  

Reason for Project: Work associated with the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades project in support of current campus needs and future growth.

Anticipated Impacts: Construction personnel will occupy Electrical Room 2A, the Physics Workshop/Storage Room 1, and the Service Elevator to the Basement.  However, hallway access for occupants will be maintained. Temporary impacts will include the presence of medium voltage cable routed into the Physics Workshop/Storage Room 1 running 10 feet overhead for the duration indicated on this notification. Please note that active work may generate localized dust and noise.
