Please be advised that Planning, Design & Construction will be performing a project that may impact you. Below are the details of the scope of work and anticipated impacts:

Scope of Work: Investigate existing underground fiber pathways and install new fiber from the campus Cogen Plant to Substations B and D.

Reason for Project: Work associated with the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades project in support of current campus needs and future growth.

Anticipated Impacts: The investigation of existing underground fiber pathways may create minor impacts to pedestrian pathways on Zura Way, and at Centennial Plaza, Open Air Theater and Campanile Mall. Areas of work will be clearly marked with delineators and signage and flagmen will direct pedestrians around activity where construction personnel are accessing manholes. There will be periodic closures to a minimal number of parking stalls in parking Lots 2 and 2A where manholes are located. Please note that the work may generate localized dust and noise, but no utility outages are expected.

Start Time / Date: 06:00 AM, Tuesday, September 3, 2024

End Time / Date: 05:00 PM, Friday, November 15, 2024
