From: Sarah Abdellatif, Substation A Communication Specialist/Program Analyst

Please be advised that Planning, Design & Construction will be performing a project that may impact you. Below are the details of the scope of work and anticipated impacts:

Scope of Work: Extract device information and review/validate device connections in support of the upgrades to the electrical infrastructure throughout the buildings and parking lot.

Reason for Project: Work associated with the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades project in support of current campus needs and future growth.

Anticipated Impacts:In order to safely extract information from electrical equipment and evaluate device connections, a planned electrical outage for the buildings and parking lot is required.

The outage will entail a total loss of power for the duration specified below, affecting systems such as heating and air, lighting, receptacle convenience power, card/access/access control, elevators, etc. It is highly recommended that sensitive equipment unable to withstand an outage should be either unplugged or powered down the day before to avoid unanticipated impacts to the equipment during the outage window.

After the outage, users will be able to re-enter the building and confirm that power is restored, and systems are fully functional. Any issues should be communicated immediately to the project team using the contact information provided at the end of this notification.

** Please note that the buildings will be closed to the public throughout the associated outage windows detailed below. **

Start Time / Date: 04:00 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2025

End Time / Date: 06:00 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2025
