Please be advised that Planning, Design & Construction will be performing a project that may impact you. Below are the details of the scope of work and anticipated impacts:

Scope of Work: Cogeneration redundancy for Substations C and D will be disconnected to enable a safe working environment for the construction crew. The campus gas turbine generators and SDG&E will continue to supply power to the campus.

Reason for Project: Work associated with the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades project in support of current campus needs and future growth.

Anticipated Impacts: Occupants need to be aware that we will not have our normal cogeneration redundancy for Substations C and D, and that any SDG&E loss of power during this time frame will affect the buildings listed above. Although the likelihood of a utility interruption during this maintenance period is low, it is recommended that any sensitive equipment be shut down prior to the scheduled maintenance period.

Duration of Impacts:

Start Time / Date:   August 1st, 2024, at 6:00 am

End Time / Date:      August 1st, 2024, at 2:00 pm
