Please be advised that Planning, Design & Construction will be continuing a project that may impact you. Below are the details of the scope of work and anticipated impacts:

Scope of Work:  Potholing to investigate underground utilities prior to project start date.

Reason for Project:  To investigate design impacts caused by conduit pathways and cables in support of the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades Project.  

Anticipated Impacts:  Rigging equipment and vendor trucks will temporarily obstruct or limit pedestrian and/or vehicular access to the NE corner of Campus near Aztec Cir Dr, E Commons Way, and Planetarium Ct. There will be a range of minor impacts that reroute the normal pedestrian routes and vehicular traffic.  Additional impacts to parking spaces and accessible pathways will be periodically unavailable for a couple hours during the dates/times specified below:

• April 13th, 2022, to April 15th,2022: The 5 standard parking spaces and 1 ADA parking space north of the Facilities Services building will periodically be unavailable.
• April 18th, 2022, to April 27th, 2022: The 1 ADA parking space at the Facilities Services building will be periodically unavailable.
• April 22nd, 2022, to April 29th, 2022: The 7 standard parking spaces on the east side of the Donald P. Shiley Biosciences/Life Sciences North service yard area will be periodically unavailable. The accessible curb cut ramp on the north side sidewalk of Donald P. Shiley Bioscience will be temporarily obstructed. Alternate accessible routes through the Life Sciences South (LS S) can be used to cross from Avenue of Arts to the east side of Aztec Circle Dr.
