Please be advised that Planning, Design & Construction will be preparing for a project that may impact you. Below are the details of the scope of work and anticipated impacts:

Scope of Work: Utility infrastructure upgrades to underground conduits including pothole investigations, patching and repair of asphalt/hardscape.

Reason for Project: Install new utility infrastructure in support of the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades Project.

Anticipated Impacts:

Trenching and underground utility work will require vehicular access on the portion of Aztec Cir Dr to the East of the Engineering building to be limited to one lane. Vehicular thru-traffic will be maintained by flagmen directing traffic in alternating directions. Additionally, parking spaces located to the West of the GMCS building will be temporarily closed and not accessible throughout the duration of work.

The work will require temporary sidewalk closures and alternate paths may require access through EIS.  Alternate pedestrian/accessible paths will be delineated by signage, flagmen and traffic control.

Please be advised that work will result in localized dust and noise.

Start Time / Date:   06:00 AM, Monday, June 12, 2023

End Time / Date:  04:00 PM, Friday, July 14, 2023

Note that active construction hours are from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday through Friday. After work hours, steel plates will be installed over open trench areas and traffic control will be removed to allow for normal vehicular and pedestrian access until the next active construction workday.  Impacted parking stalls will remain closed 24/7.
