Please be advised that Planning, Design & Construction will be preparing for a project that may impact you. Below are the details of the scope of work and anticipated impacts:

Scope of Work: Utility infrastructure upgrades to underground conduits including patching and repair of asphalt/hardscape. 

Reason for Project: Install new utility infrastructure in support of the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades Project.

Anticipated Impacts: Trenching and underground utility work will require vehicular access on a portion of Aztec Circle Drive to the East of Atkinson Hall to be limited to one lane throughout the duration of work. Vehicular thru-traffic will be maintained by flagmen directing traffic in alternating directions and alternate pedestrian/accessible paths will be delineated by signage, flagmen and traffic control. Please be advised that work will result in localized dust and noise.

End Time / Date:  04:00 PM, Friday, June 16, 2023

Note that active construction hours are from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday through Friday.  After work hours, steel plates will be installed over open trench areas and traffic control will be removed to allow for normal vehicular and pedestrian access until the next active construction work day.
